head leaning to the side.... I used to have that nasty habit on track too....
not anymore
but every once in a while, it comes back.

forgive my ignorance - why is this a nasty habit? It seems like I do this while autocrossing when trying to "wrap" a cone.
I guess at higher speeds this could be an issue of neck strength? Dem helmets get heavy.

Yeah, I don't "think" that I normally lean into the corners (at least no other photos show it). I'm hoping it was just because the car popped out of shape (hooray, snap oversteer) and the car has stock belts. I can't really do that in my car with a 6pt harness and HANS keeping my head upright.

Biggest issue (that I can think of) is that you're changing your point of view mid-corner. So suddenly the apex is in a different spot (between your eyes and the hood of your car) and you would be more likely to adjust - either missing the apex, or making a mid-corner correction (also bad).
